I've got 2 very special unique state prints that are hand-coloured versions of my 'Platforms' artwork. These two prints are artist proofs that came out too light during the printing process, so I have revisited them this year to bring them to life through colour. I've chosen blue and yellow as a play on the Melbourne train colours, and inversed them on each print to represent day & night.

I visited Flinders Street Station many times a week when I made this print in 2024, it's my favourite station in the city due to its architecture! This particular view point is from the underground subway access to the platforms, I was really inspired walking past the old platforms sign on the wall one day - there are little pockets of history all through the station, I notice something new each time I pass through. The base of these artworks was created and printed right around the corner from the station which makes it even more special!
